Crossroads Playgroup

Crossroads is an English speaking association in Fontainbleau that is extremely healpful if you are an English speaker in the area or want your children to be around English speakers. Among their many and varied activities are;

The Playgroup

Every Friday the playgroup meets with their children aged from birth till three. This was an absolute lifesaver for me when I first moved to the area (possibly it is for for the adults). It costs a very small amount per year and is lots of fun for the kids too.

Toddlers and troops

Once your child is over three then there is also Toddler and troops. According to the Crossroads website it is a once per month meeting but I am unsure we have ever been to an official meeting. I am sure that I meet at least one member of the group once a week and post in the Whatsapp group at least once every couple of days. It may be more loosely structured, but it is a great community and fantastic for the kids.
