Follow My Chef is an idea that came to me while talking about how my girlfriend had changed her favorite restaurant because her chef had. Basically she had found this fantastic restaurant and took everybody there but after a year something changed and she was sure what it was. She still went but it didn’t have the same zing that it had had originally. At the time she though she might have just got used to it.
A couple of years later though and we were having dinner at another restaurant with the same owners. At the end of the meal she asked the chef if he used to work at the other restaurant. He had, and she had identified him by his incredible cooking style (Really, the man is a miracle and I want to kidnap him).
So how many of our fantastic meals are due to the chef? Wouldn’t it be great to have a way of tracking peoples favorite chefs across restaurants.
