Fontainebleau Loisirs et Culture (FLC) is a non-profit association and has been in existence for more than 60 years! With 1000 members and around thirty contributors, FLC remains the largest association in Fontainebleau, welcoming members from all surrounding municipalities.
Supported by the City of Fontainebleau and the Departmental Directorate of Social Cohesion, FLC develops numerous cultural, artistic, and sports initiatives, such as collaborations with theaters and libraries. It offers holiday camps, festive events, shows, and exhibitions, particularly targeting children from preschools and elementary schools in the Fontainebleau area.
FLC comprises a large team of employees, self-employed instructors, and volunteers. Their instructors are dedicated to sharing their knowledge and skills with members in various areas: dance, music, culture, languages, leisure activities, wellness, and visual arts.
FLC’s journey over the past six decades reflects its commitment to promoting cultural enrichment, artistic expression, and community engagement in the Fontainebleau region. From its humble beginnings, the association has grown into a vibrant hub of cultural and recreational activities, catering to the diverse interests and needs of its members.
