Fontainebleau Loisirs et Culture Association

Fontainebleau Loisirs et Culture (FLC) is a non-profit association and has been in existence for more than 60 years! With 1000 members and around thirty contributors, FLC remains the largest association in Fontainebleau, welcoming members from all surrounding municipalities.

Supported by the City of Fontainebleau and the Departmental Directorate of Social Cohesion, FLC develops numerous cultural, artistic, and sports initiatives, such as collaborations with theaters and libraries. It offers holiday camps, festive events, shows, and exhibitions, particularly targeting children from preschools and elementary schools in the Fontainebleau area.

FLC comprises a large team of employees, self-employed instructors, and volunteers. Their instructors are dedicated to sharing their knowledge and skills with members in various areas: dance, music, culture, languages, leisure activities, wellness, and visual arts.

FLC’s journey over the past six decades reflects its commitment to promoting cultural enrichment, artistic expression, and community engagement in the Fontainebleau region. From its humble beginnings, the association has grown into a vibrant hub of cultural and recreational activities, catering to the diverse interests and needs of its members.

Throughout its history, FLC has maintained strong partnerships with local institutions and organizations, leveraging these collaborations to expand its reach and enhance its offerings. Whether through collaborations with theaters, libraries, or municipal authorities, FLC has continuously sought to create opportunities for cultural exchange and artistic expression within the community.

Moreover, FLC’s dedication to inclusivity and accessibility is evident in its efforts to engage individuals of all ages and backgrounds. By offering a wide range of programs and activities, the association ensures that everyone, from children to seniors, can participate and benefit from its offerings.

Looking ahead, FLC remains committed to its mission of enriching the lives of individuals and strengthening the social fabric of Fontainebleau. Through continued innovation, collaboration, and community involvement, the association is poised to build upon its rich history and make an even greater impact in the years to come. Whether through cultural events, recreational programs, or educational initiatives, FLC will continue to serve as a catalyst for creativity, connection, and cultural exchange in Fontainebleau and beyond.
