Grotte Beatrix near Bourron Marlotte

Although this is technically in Fontainbleau it is actually just at the back of Bourron Marlotte. It is also one of our favorite walks.

It has great parking right beside a large field for picnics and just generally kicking a ball around. It is quiet, really quite nicely quiet (except on the weekends). The first part of the path is flat and then up on a rocky path that is lots of fun for a toddler. At the top take a right and then follow the main path taking more rights when needed and you will end up where you started.

There are some drops but you just have to keep an eye out. It is relatively safe for children and best of all, very good exercise which leads them to sleep...
