Le Chalet de la Caverne near Barbizon

Recommended by a friend but unfortunately not open when we got there. Still we got to go on a walk an it is a good place to go with kids. Anyway, she said,

Come check out the auberge in Barbizon and the walk up to the Caverne de Brigand. Auberge isn’t as fancy, but has fries and ice pops for a quick sugar fix. walk is a nice blue up to the plateau, with great views over the forest and the cave is great fun for kids to discover.

I never found the cave so it looks like we shall have to return.
