Les Amis de Bourron-Marlotte

Since 1953, the Association, boasting 250 members, has been dedicated to uncovering the history of Bourron-Marlotte, its artists, residents, and houses. Actively engaged in cultural animation and village promotion, the Association annually publishes a sought-after bulletin renowned for its historical articles.

The Friends of Bourron-Marlotte organize remarkable exhibitions, cultural outings, and conferences, greatly appreciated by visitors. Additionally, they spearhead the "In the Footsteps of the Artists" circuit, aiming to identify houses once inhabited by artists using informative plaques.

In a philanthropic endeavor, the Association embarked on the restoration of neglected graves in the local cemetery, honoring painters, ceramists, sculptors, writers, musicians, filmmakers, actors, and other luminaries.

Dedicated administrators, volunteers, and enthusiasts contribute extensively, from article writing to genealogical, historical, and artistic research, catering to researchers and those interested in Bourron-Marlotte's cultural life.

The Friends of Bourron-Marlotte's initiatives:
