Playgrounds in Bourron-Marlotte

There are two playgrounds in Bourron-Marlotte.

The first is on the edge of the forest and is lovely and shaded in the summer with sandpits, slides and a small play train. There are a few tables as well so it makes a good place to go for a picnic. If you go into the forest at the rear there are quite a few climbing boulders that are suitable for small children. It is lovely, shaded in summer and exposed in winter. A towel can be handing in the morning to wipe the dew off the slides.

Additionally, there are pétanque courts and an exercise trail and spaces to ride a bike. Nice quiet area with low traffic.

The second is quite small but well positioned beside the school and with a skateboard park on one side and a soccer field on the other. Across the field there are also the fire and ambulance stations if your child wants to look at the fire trucks. There isn’t any shelter so on a hot day it may be a little exposed but during lunch hours your child can watch the goings-on in the school yard on the other side of the fence.
