Tour Denecourt near Fontainebleau

The first time I went to the Tour Denecourt I followed google maps to a parking space by the road with no path or anything. It must just have been the closest place on the road to the tower. For this reason I have given a parking space in the google map below.

From the carpark it is about a ten to twenty minute walk to the turnoff to go up to the tower. The initial walk is suitable for a push chair but not the last part as it is quite steep although the path is sealed. It's a nice walk without the tower anyway and a good learning to ride a bike path.

The tower itself dates from 1851 and was constructed to give views over the Fontainebleau area which is does admirably.
